Explore the possible usage of Hemp / Hempcrete products within the building industry.
For my Disertation within my Architectural Engineering Degree, I reseached the potential for the use of Hemp within the building industry, especially Hempcrete. Here are some of the key take aways I found in my studies.
HISTORY: Although Hemp has been used for thousands of years for a vast range of products, such as clothes, boat sails, rope, and more. In the past 100 years it has been stigmatised and the use of it shunned. Although in recent years with our expanding infomation, the benifits of the plant is being refound. And in even bigger & better ways then before.
Our focus here is on the building industry but it does have many other applications.
